Like deer and other wild animals, our sheep give birth to their lambs in spring when grass is fresh and abundant, so they live their whole lives outdoors on our herb-rich meadows. All our lamb comes from our flock of Dorset Down sheep, a dependable traditional breed. Not as primitive as some of our rarer breeds, they mature faster producing succulent cuts that are perfect for summer barbecues and roasts.
