Events on the farm

Throughout the year we host walks and visits to the farm. We hope you will join us for one (or several!) to build a picture of the whole farm.

Walks usually last between 2 and 3 hours, unless otherwise specified, and will almost always include tea and biscuits. Please let us know of any dietary requirements. Children are welcome on any walk; these events are not be arranged specially for them but they will have plenty of space and their questions, like yours, will always be addressed.

We will always do our best to accommodate anyone with mobility difficulties but it helps to contact us in advance. Except for lambing, dogs may come if calm and on a lead. Please check each event for booking details. Remember to wear suitable footwear for uneven ground.

We look forward to seeing you!

Events elsewhere

We often do events off the farm, or arranged externally. Check those out below!

Celebrating 40 years since the Bridport community came together to raise the money to purchase Allington Hill, the Country Fayre will  be bringing the community together with stalls, a speakers marquee, craft demonstrations and activities.

Discover Spring opening up on a mixed organic farm: lambs and calves, early wild flowers, developing crops and whatever else we find.

The Farm Shop will be open after the walk. Tea and biscuits before we set off.

Calm dogs welcome on a short lead. Children very welcome.

Join local folk singer Alastair Braidwood for a walk around a working organic farm, accompanied by traditional folk songs from Dorset and further afield. Learn about modern farming, and hear related songs from years before.

Refreshments provided by the Farm at the end and the Farm Shop will be open.
