Wildflower Walk – Sunday 8th April 2026
Take a guided walk through Cogden’s usually hidden areas and discover the wonderful array of flowers and plants that thrive there.
We are so proud of the conservation work we have done at Cogden, both maintaining the SSS I (Site of Special Scientific Interest) that lies in the heart of the land here, and the careful management that has enabled the nationally-rare species of plants to spread across the fields we graze.
Join us to explore through the parts of Cogden that you won’t normally see, and enjoy discovering the array of flowers that we have.
The walk, which will start and end at the car park, will take between 2-3 hours.
Please gather at the National Trust car park in time for a prompt 10am start. Dogs are welcome, if well-behaved and on a lead. Please wear appropriate outdoor shoes and clothes. We can hope it will be lovely and warm for this event, but remember to be prepared! At least part of the walk will be on paths that can take a rugged wheelchair; if you are disabled and wish to come, please discuss with us your requirements so that we can do our best to accommodate you. Children are also welcome.
